Below are answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the Drawing Hand Screen Saver.
Why don't the drawings fill the screen?

The drawings are a fixed size. The earlier drawings were 640 x 480. As the screen resolution increased over the years the size of the drawings increased to 800 x 600 and then 1024 x 768. It's recommended that you set the screen saver display mode to match your display.
Why aren't all of the drawings that I've downloaded drawn? It only draws the Tiger drawing.

First, you must be using the full version of the screen saver not the trial version. If you are using the full version try deleting the "config.dat" file in the Drawing Hand folder (typically, c:\Program Files\Drawing Hand).

Why does the screen saver start and then immediately stop?

If the screen saver starts and then immediately stops try deleting the "config.dat" file in the Drawing Hand folder (typically, c:\Program Files\Drawing Hand).

Can I create my own drawings?

Yes, you can use ArtStudio to create drawings. See the ArtStudio on-line help for information on exporting a drawing to the screen saver.
Can I print the drawings?

1- Start the screen saver.
2- When the drawing finishes, press the either the Ctrl and Print Scrn keys or Alt and Print Scrn keys.
3 - Stop the screen saver.
4- Click on the Start button and select Programs - Accessories - Paint
5- Select Paste from the Edit menu. You should see the screen shot.

You can then print it from within Paint.

Why doesn't the screen saver play my entire artwork file I created with ArtStudio? I only see the drawing.

Only Art layers can be exported to the Drawing Hand Screen Saver. If you want to play artwork files as your screen saver, you can use the Artwork Screen Saver that was installed with ArtStudio.

How do I uninstall the screen saver?

Windows XP: Go to Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs
Window Vista & 7: Go to Control Panel - Programs & Features

Vista: Go to Control Panel - Program and Features. Right click on Drawing Hand Screen Saver and select uninstall.
